Daejin University China Campus (DUCC)

Soochow University, in cooperation with Daejin University, Korea, set up Daejin University China Campus (DUCC) in 2005. DUCC has become an ideal place for Daejin University students to study abroad. DUCC has been dedicated to providing a strict management system and an outstanding education to ensure those students experience profound Chinese culture and Chinese fast-developing economy. Also, with various campus activities, DUCC students are having a vibrant student life while studying here at Soochow University.

Soochow University—Portland State University Joint Confucius Institute

Established in 2007, this Soochow University-Portland State University Joint Confucius Institute was awarded the world's Excellent Confucius Institute in 2013. It has been actively engaged in promoting a deeper understanding of Chinese language and culture in the greater Portland area and to foster mutually beneficial educational exchanges between the Unites States and China.

Member of "China-African Universities 20+20 Cooperation Plan"

In 2010, Soochow University was selected as a member of the "China-African Universities 20+20 Cooperation Plan" approved by the Ministry of Education of China, creating a platform for Soochow university to develop international cooperation and exchange with African universities. Since 2010, Soochow University has been cooperating with the University of Lagos, Nigeria, carrying out multiple training and student exchange programs.

Soochow University in Laos

In 2011, Soochow University established "Soochow University in Laos" in Vientiane, Lao PDR, which is the first overseas university campus set up by a Chinese university. As a comprehensive university, it takes on tasks of teaching, research and social service. After succeeding in starting the undergraduate programs of International Economy and Trade, and International Finance in July 2012, another two undergraduate programs of Chinese and Computer Science and Technology were also approved by the Ministry of Education of Laos in August 2013.

Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Program

Approved by the Ministry of Education of China, Soochow University cooperated with the University of Victoria on Finance, New Energy and Devices programs, the University of Manchester on Textile Engineering program, and the University of Arkansas on Logistics Management program, successfully sending more than 800 students to those universities for higher education.
