In September, 2009, the 7th national Post-doctoral Mobile Research Centers review is launched, notified by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and National Post-doctoral Administrative Committee, with 8 Post-doctoral Mobile Research Centers of Ecomonics, Law, Politics, Education, Foreign Languages, Art, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine be authorized in Soochow University, ranking first among all the participating schools.

Up till now, the total number of Post-doctoral Mobile Research Centers in our school amounts to 20, equal to some of the “985 Project” universities and ranking the first in provincial universities in the country. With 6 Post-doctoral Mobile Research Centers authorized in 2007 and 8 in 2009, our school has achieved great progress in post-doctoral program in the past two years, which demonstrates a new hight of our education level, influence and position and core competitiveness. And these 8 newly-authorized mobile research centers optimize discipline distribution in our school and create an excellent platform for introducing and fostering high-level talents.
