On Oct, 26th, 2009, Prof. Mark Becker, the president of Georgia State University with delegation visited our school and were met by Mr. Zhang Xueguang, our vice president of our school, in Red House Conference Center.

  During the meeting, Mr. Zhang on behalf of the school expressed our warm welcome for their coming and introduced the history and development of our school, saying that Soochow University paid great attention to education internationalization and it was our sincere hope to promote communications in various fields and make effective achievements on the basis of mutual understanding.  Mr. Mark Becker, who highly praised the achievements of our school, hoped to further the cooperation in foreign languages, music and art, etc.

  Then Mr. Zhang and Mr. Mark Becker signed Inter-school cooperation memorandum on behalf of two schools.

  On the same day, the delegation of Georgia State University visited School of Foreign Languages and Art School of Soochow University respectively and friendly exchanged ideas with leaders and teachers of these two schools.
