Mr. Robert E.Kahn, one of the founders of Internet, a co-designer of TCP/IP, an inventor of Arpanet, an originator of “Information Superhighway”, and a winner of the 2004 A. M. Turing Award, visited Soochow University on the morning of May 14, 2010.

  Mr. Kahn met with Professor Zhang Xueguang, vice-president of SU, in the conference hall. On the occasion of SU’s 110th anniversary, Professor Zhang offered his warmest welcome, and introduced him to SU’s history, discipline construction, etc. The meeting was soon followed by Mr. Kahn’s lecture entitled “Manage Information on Internet”.
