Xiao-Hong Zhang

 

Dr. Xiao-Hong Zhang is currently a full Professor of the College of Nano Science and Technology and Vice-President of Soochow University. He received his BASc and MASc degrees from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1989 and 1992, and Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Technology in 1996. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Photographic Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) during 1996-1998, and a senior visiting scholar at City University of Hong Kong during 1998-2000. He became a full Professor at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS in 2000, and worked in Cavendish Laboratory of Cambridge University as a senior visiting scholar during 2003-2004. In 2014, he joined Soochow University as a full Professor.

Research Accomplishments:

Published over 300 peer-reviewed papers in professional journals, such as Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Adv. Mater., over 40 international conference proceedings. Applied for over 40 U.S. and Chinese patents, and contributed to 2 professional books.
