Starting from 1908, Soochow Drama Club always endeavors to grow into a troupe whose performers are equipped with excellent performing skills, necessary theoretical attainments and cultural preserves. In additions, the performers of the club are also expected to manifest the excellent performing and grading skills of the students in Soochow University and the characteristics of the student club by and showing their competences in of rehearsing and performing classic repertoire at home and abroad, and grading high-quality original dramas in diversified styles.
