Recently, Soochow University has successfully completed 9 performances of the expansion project of elegant art into the campus in Jiangsu Province in 2020, relevant schools including Jiangsu Provincial Liangfeng Senior Middle School, Suzhou Junior High School Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University, Suzhou Vocational Health College, Soochow University NO.2 Experimental School, Zhangjiagang Shazhou Senior High School, Yancheng Dafeng District Experimental Junior Middle School, and so on. Nearly 5000 students from the province have watched the performance and have felt the influence of aesthetic education.

Jiangsu Province elegant art into the campus expansion project is sponsored by Jiangsu Education Department and Department of finance of Jiangsu Province. It has been held for 10 years since it was launched in 2011, and Soochow University art education center has won the bid for 10 consecutive years. This project fully takes root in the excellent traditional Chinese culture and local culture, and actively transfers out the high-quality aesthetic education resources of Soochow University, benefiting a large number of students in the province to feel the charm of the elegant art, forming an inter-school synergy of aesthetic education. Students from Soochow Art Troupe and Symphony Orchestra has performed brilliantly, and coordinated enrollment publicity to show the youthful demeanor and spread the spirit of Soochow University with the beauty of art, winning unanimous praises.
