On May 18th, the semifinals and the finals of the 2ndNational Competition of Comprehensive Public Health Knowledge and Skills were held successfully in Zhuhai of Guangdong Province. The team from Soochow University won the first prize with its outstanding performance as well as the prizes of “sample collection and spot detection” and “basic theories of public health”, which together made a great breakthrough. At the same time, two inventions by Soochow students were awarded the second prize and the third prize respectively in the national healthy popular science works for college students of 2019.
