Soochow University Welcomed the Return of Medical Groups from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University

On the evening of April 11, Zhou Gao, member of the standing committee of the CPC Soochow University, visited the doctors and nurses from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University who were dispatched to support Hubei in February.

 

On February 9, four members from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University were dispatched to Huangshi, Hubei, contributed “Suzhou Strength” in the local area’s fight against COVID-19 pandemic. The member has returned to Suzhou safely with the last COVID-19 patient cured and discharged. Among them, Mu Zhuanyong and Xu Panpan were awarded by Jiangsu Province.

 

As of the eight medical groups, 204 doctors and nurses who were dispatched to Wuhan, the third medical group was the largest. On March31, according to the unified arrangement of the state, all medical groups completed their 14-day quarantine at a hotel after returning to Suzhou and could finally be reunited with their families. On the evening of April 14, Soochow University held a ceremony to welcome the return of the doctors and nurses who were dispatched to Hubei.

 

Jiang Yong, Secretary of the CPC Soochow, Chen Weichang, vice president of the University and other leaders attended the ceremony.
