According to the latest data released by the US ESI database, the discipline of Environmental and Ecological Studies of Soochow University has been ranked among the global top 1% disciplines.

So far, in the 22 ESI subject classifications, 14 subjects of Soochow University have been ranked among the top 1% in the world, they are: Chemistry, Materials Science, Clinical Medicine, Physics, Engineering, Pharmacy and Toxicology, Biology and Biochemistry, Neuroscience and Behavioral Science, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Immunology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Environment and Ecology. Among these subjects, the Chemistry and Materials Science are ranked the top 1‰ of the global ESI ranking.
