The conference of Research Proposal about the Major Project of National Social Science Fund “Research on the Allocation of Market Supervision Power in the New Era” was Held

On April 10th, the conference of Research Proposal about the Major Project of National Social Science Fund “Research on the Allocation of Market Supervision Power in the New Era” was held in Kenneth Wang School of Law. Several university leaders and scholars attended the event, including Professor Zhu Mang from Shanghai Jiao Tong University,  Professor Zhang Shufang from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Professor Ma Yingjuan from Shanghai Normal University, Senior Editor Wu Lei from Journal of China Legal Science, Professor Shen Chengcheng from Soochow University, Director Yu Yulan  and Deputy Director Chen Yi from Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Dean Fang Xinjun, Associate Professor Shi Lidong, and Associate Professor Shi Xiaoxue from Kenneth Wang School of Law.

In the opening ceremony, Fang Xinjun introduced the achievements of Kenneth Wang School of Law in the major projects of the National Social Science Found. He said that Kenneth Wang School of Law would provide all-round support for the research, and wished the research group to complete the research with high quality.

At the research group report and seminar, Wang Kewen introduced the overall research content and research plan of the major project. Lecturer Wang Lingbo from Jiangxi Normal University, Associate Professor Zhang Muyao from Huaiyin Normal University, Doctor He Shuzhong from Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation, Associate Professor Ouyang Junjun from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Doctor Yang Xi from Jiangsu Police Institute, Associate Professor Wang Qiuhui from Guangzhou Medical University, and Associate Professor Li Qingyu from Lanzhou University reported the research plan, research framework and main research content of each sub project respectively.

In the expert comment stage, Ma Yingjuan believed that the research framework had a rigorous logical argument, involving the whole research content and the coordination with various parts. Zhang Shufang pointed out that coordination among the sub topics should be strengthened and various research parts should be connected. Professor Shen Chengcheng believed that market supervision should be based on the rule of law and respond to responsibility. Shi Lidong proposed that the traditional regulatory field should be involved, the cross between internal sub topics should be avoided and the empirical research should be enhanced. Shi Xiaoxue pointed out that there should be clear standards for the selection of key supervision and separate supervision areas.

In the closing ceremony, Chen Yi proposed that the research on the subject would contribute to enriching China’s academic system, disciplinary system and discourse system. Wang Kewen made a brief response to the questions raised by the expert group and made arrangements for the research of each sub topic of the research group.
