Students from Soochow University Won 3 Awards by American Society of Landscape Architects

On October 4th in the American time, the official website of American Society of Landscape Architects announced 2021 Students Awards Winners. Three works by students from Gold Mantis School of Architecture won awards in the general design category, the urban design category and the analysis and planning category. The number of winning works was the same as that of Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Virginia, ranking first in the world, which was also another honor by students from Soochow University after winning the general design award in 2020.

The works by students from Soochow University stood out in the ASLA competition, fully demonstrating achievements of discipline construction and teaching reform, integration with the highest level universities in the world, and the craftsman spirit of the ingenuity by Gold Mantis School of Architecture, also reflecting the high fit between development of Gold Mantis School of Architecture and the basic strategy of “ecological civilization construction” advocated by the state.
