Soochow Scholars Publish in Nature Electronics

Recently, Nature Electronics published online a research paper titled "Pressure-stamped stretchable electronics using a nanofibre membrane containing semi-embedded liquid metal particles" by Professor Yan Feng's research group from our university's College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.

The paper presents a method for fabricating stretchable, breathable circuits with high resolution (minimum line width of 50 micrometers) and high stability (over 30,000 cycles at 100% stretch). Professor Yan's team achieved this by precisely controlling the size of liquid metal particles and nanofibers, and combining stamping technology with liquid metal composite nanofiber membranes. This approach enables flexible and customized production of circuits with high resolution, high stability, and high breathability.
