Professor Xu Xingshun has been focusing on research in related fields, collecting more than 10 families, including more than 100 patients, to study related pathogenesis. By cooperating with Professor Sun Miao and overcoming difficulties, a set of rapid detection system was built in the laboratory. Based on this system, several families previously misdiagnosed as Senile dementia, Parkinson's disease and peripheral neuropathy were diagnosed as NIID, which has important clinical significance.
