Professor Jiang Jianhua from School of Physical Science and Technology Published the Academic Paper on nature with Soochow University being the First Unit

On January 20th, an academic paper entitled “Bulk–disclination Correspondence in Topological Crystalline Insulators”, co-authored by Professor Jiang Jianhua from School of Physical Science and Technology of Soochow University and Associate Professor Pu Yin from School of Electronic Science and Engineering of Nanjing University, with Soochow University being the first signing unit, was officially published in nature This is the first time that School of Physical Science and Technology has published an academic paper in nature, an international top academic journal, representing a major scientific breakthrough in the field of basic scientific research.

Jiang Jianhua, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of School of Physical Science and Technology of Soochow University, won the doctor’s degree from University of Science and Technology of China. He was engaged in postdoctoral research at Weizmann Institute in Israeland University of Toronto in Canada.

Professor Jiang Jianhua has been engaged in the basic scientific research of metamaterials and non-equilibrium statistical physics for a long time. He has published more than 70 academic papers in nature, Nature Physics, Physics Review Letters and other international famous academic journals. He is a member of the Academic Committee of the “the National Conference on Statistical Physics and Complex Systems”, a member of the Council of “ the National Conference on Metamaterials”, and a young editor of Chinese Physics letter and Chinese Physics B.
