Recently, according to the famous journal of Biomaterials in biotechnology, Professor Chen Qian from Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials has won Biomaterials Diversity Award for Young Investigator2021.
On October 13th, 2021 Chinese Biomaterials Congress was held in Shanghai, during which Biomaterials Diversity Award for Young Investigator 2021 Ceremony was held. Professor Chen Qian presented her latest research results in the form of the on-site report.
Professor Chen Qian received a doctorate in materials science and engineering from Soochow University in 2017. Afterwards, she was engaged in the post doctoral research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and at the University of California, Los Angeles successively. In 2019, he joined the Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials from Soochow University and was employed as a professor and doctoral supervisor.
In recent years, Professor Chen Qian has devoted herself to the research in the field of biomedical materials, and has published more than 80 academic papers that have been cited more than 8000 times. 36 papers, which were with the first or corresponding author, were published in journals of Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, and Proc Natl Acad SCI USA. In 2019, she was selected into the “List of Highly Cited Researchers” by Clarivate that was formerly Thomson Reuters Group.
