Recently, the essay by Doctor Chen Ningyang from School of Foreign Languages with the title of The story of a loner learner: Reconsidering authenticity and authentic engagement in second language learning has won the Runner-up of Christopher Brumfit Essay Prize 2021. Under recommendation, the polished essay will be published in Language Teaching which is selected into SSCI District 1.
