ChangJiang Scholars Program
Chang Jiang Scholars Program (formerly name: CheungKong Scholars Programme) is a high-level personnel recruitment program established in 1998 by the Ministry of Education of PRC and the Li Ka Shing Foundation. It aims at raising the academic status of Chinese universities and revitalizing Chinese higher education. It includes recruiting Special Term Professors and sponsoring an achievement award. The program has been carried out since 2011 by the Ministry of Education in accordance with the National Medium-and-Long-Term Educational Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020) and the National Middle and Long Term Talents Development Plan Outline (2010-2020).
