Under the long-term strategy of internalization, Soochow University has been active in Open-Up Education, Academic Activities  and International Exchanges , which have brought about remarkable results. Spotlight projects in internationalized education include Soochow University-Laos Campus (Jan,2009), Confucius Academy of Portland in the United States and Daejin University-Suzhou Campus,etc.

Other projects in internationalized education include three different China-US joint programs, with two on the undergraduate level and one on the post-undergraduate level.

In addition, there are about 1500-1800 international students studying in Soochow University each year.

The university also welcome more possibilities to cooperate with foreign institutions of education and employ more talents for further development of internationalized education.
